I forgot how superior Mew were to the entire fucking existance of everything.
Had a friend come down from Birmingham today to come jam. We met in London at the ICA Mew gig, possibly the greatest night of my life.
Finally found someone that likes the same music as me and has the ability to play it. We played The Mars Volta and Mew, but the improv was the best. So great to play real complex music with elements of experimental and shoegaze. So much better than shit boring popular covers in my other two bands.
But yeah, good day and hopefully something great will come of this
